Olympic Stadiums
With a wealth of archival images and detailed shots of the stadiums, this volume is a richly illustrated souvenir of the changing design and purpose of Olympic stadiums over the past century. I wrote and edited features examining the politics, architecture and artistic impact of Olympic stadiums; showing how the International Olympic Committee works with Organizing Committees for the Olympic Games to try and build stadiums that balance the needs of a city with the Games and examining how the best stadiums demonstrate architectural prowess and attract international attention.
