Cities in Action

URBACT is a series of European Territorial Cooperation programmes jointly financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.

Since 2002, more than 1 000 cities across Europe have been involved this system of expertise transference. Through this they have experienced the value of transnational cooperation and the participatory approach to policy-making. I was commissioned to bring together information and interviews of participants from throughout Europe in order to create a one-off publication.

The editing involved reading, writing and interviewing in French as well as editing texts written by non-English speakers and those written by technical specialists so they could be understood by the general reader.
